概要 | According to existing studies, there are three competing models for the relationship between attitudes toward work life and attitudes toward family life. These are spillover, compensation, and segmentation (separation). These models argue that there are positive, negative, and uncorrelated relationships between attitudes in both life domains. We found that we should not ask which of these three models is correct, but consider factors such as individual values and individual differences such as personality, and environmental factors such as employment conditions, family conditions, and social and historical contexts. We found that we could argue that all of the above models are valid. |
