概要	This pap er treats the fundamentals of the vector dierential calcu- lus part of universal geometric calculus. Geometric calculus simplies and unies the structure and notation of mathematics for all of science and engineering, and for technological applications. In order to make the treatment self-contained, I rst compile all imp ortant geometric algebra relationships, which are necessary for vector dierential calculus. Then dierentiation by vectors is intro duced and a host of ma jor vector dif- ferential and vector derivative relationships is proven explicitly in a very elementary step by step approach. The pap er is thus intended to serve as reference material, giving details, which are usually skipp ed in more advanced discussions of the sub ject matter.
