Details | Many people today think music is just entertainment. That is of course partly true. However, from the ancient on, "musicking" is one of the essential features of human being, and any culture of any time has its music. Music influences society; music reflects it; music always employs the newest technology of the time; music penetrates deeply into the human heart and puts the human soul in motion. Through music, we can connect to people who lived in the past; through music, we can also connect to people who live today. In this lecture, I will argue the significance of teaching and learning of music at the ICU. |
