2014年9月より国際基督教大学に就任。2009年12月から2014年1月までに香港中文大学日本研究学科助教授に就任した。2008年12月早稲田大学アジア太平洋研究科国際関係博士取得。2007年10月から2009年11月までアジア太平洋研究科のリサーチ・アソシエイトを経て、2009年より現職。
2009年からの資金研究プロジェクト:『2012年領土問題直後の日中関係:日本のビジネスが中国における貿易と投資戦略の変更調査』、『東アジアにおける非伝統的安全保障の協調』『日本における人間安全保障のパラダイム:東北アジアにおける国際協力の挑戦及び可能性調査』『香港及び東京都における地方自治体の移民政策とその役割』
関心のある研究テーマ:東北アジアの国際関係、日中関係、アジアの地域統合及び地域主義、非伝統的安全保障に関するテーマ。
アジア地域統合の研究を行っているので、2010年3月より早稲田大学「アジア地域統合のための世界的人材育成拠点」シニアフェローを兼任。香港中文大学香港アジア太平洋研究所国際問題研究センター研究員も兼任。
